On Optimizing the Mix of Textile Products Exported to the US Market

The United States is a big consumer market for textile products, featuring short updating cycle and high fiber consumption. Related statistics show that the per capita fiber consumption in the United States has exceeded 20 kg. At the same time, the United States is also the largest importer of textile products in the world, with more than 80% of the textiles and apparel being imported from abroad, while China is one of the major suppliers. Therefore, to get better understanding of the demand and developing trend on the US market has become very important for the Chinese textile industry to expand its export to this market.
